N/ Nift Labs

The Nift experiment notebook

Ideas are useful.
Put them to the test.

Real-world builds. Measured tradeoffs. Unexpected findings.
A collection of experiments exploring what Nift can do—and what we can learn along the way.

A note on method

The workload is real.
The design is an experiment.

We use real public content corpora to investigate build-system performance and implementation characteristics. Unless a report explicitly says otherwise, these are independent interpretations rather than pixel-perfect migrations.

Exact upstream commits are recorded where available so each result can be tied to a specific corpus. Each report describes its measurement boundaries, evidence, and limitations.
